Blog Entry 14: Meatrix
The 1999 blockbuster film "The Matrix" was used as the base for the spinoff "The Meatrix" because of the many similarities they have. In the short clip of "The Meatrix" Moorpheus explains that the food processing has changed alot since agriculture corporations took over the small family farms. The small family farms took care of there animals and produced healthy goods but at a very slow rate. On the other hand agriculture corporations uses hormones and other ways in producing goods faster but at the same time making unhealthy food. "The Meatrix" shows that many people dont know what they are really consuming when they eat the food that agriculture corporations produce. And like "The Matrix" Neo lived a fantasy without knowing what the matrix or "real world" is.
